The singer, 25, is said to be desperate to appear in the magazine, reports the News of the World.

Brit was offered $1m to appear naked in Playboy in 2004, but turned it down to keep with her wholesome image.

It seems she's now had a change of heart.

The owner of the Mercedes-Benz viewed the accident on TV, but decided to wait and give Spears a chance to step forward. Kim Robard-Rifkin, a registered nurse, finally filed a report on Thursday with police, saying that she is not looking for money or a new car, but simply wants the damage repaired. ÒI simply want my car fixed, the same as I would fix somebodyÕs car if I had done that.Ó

Sources Tell "The Insider" She's In Intense Treatment Program

No official word from Lindsay Lohan or her representatives, but sources tell TV's "The Insider" that the actress has checked into a Utah rehab center for an intense treatment program expected to last a minimum of 30 days.

Lohan has reportedly entered the Cirque Lodge drug and alcohol rehab in Sundance, Utah. The Insider says that according to sources inside the facility, the 21-year-old actress checked into the facility over the weekend.

The prices at the rehab center overlooking the Sundance resort are said to be steep - reportedly a minimum of $30,000 per 30-day stay.

Lohan has already done two other stints in rehab this year.

Troubled pop star Britney Spears threw a baby bottle and threatened to kill two photographers after they took pictures of her leaving a Las Vegas spa, it has been alleged.

The singer has been accused of threatening to kill Andrew Deetz, who has now instructed his lawyers to sue the star for compensation.

In a lawsuit filed in Las Vegas, Deetz claims he and his colleague Kyle Henderson were attacked by Spears' bodyguard Julio "JC" Camera as they attempted to take photos of the singer and her children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, on Thursday.

Journalist Chauncey Bailey was gunned down

Longtime Oakland, Calif. journalist Chauncey Bailey was gunned down in broad daylight on a Bay Area sidewalk, police said Thursday.

The shooting happened near the corner of 14th and Alice streets near Lake Merritt on Thursday morning. Bailey was shot once in the back of the head by a masked gunman wearing all black clothing, who then fled on foot, Oakland Fire Department Capt. Melinda Drayton said.

A witness described to KPIX-TV hearing the loud boom of a single shot. Police say the weapon might have been either a shotgun or a high-powered rifle.

Chauncey Bailey Oakland Post editor gunned down

Friends expressed shock at news that Oakland Post Editor Chauncey Bailey was gunned down this morning in downtown Oakland.

Witnesses told police a masked gunman shot a man, then fled on foot to a waiting van and drove off. Police have not released a name but sources said that Bailey, 57, was the apparent victim.

The shooting happened about 7:25 a.m. in the 1400 block of Alice Street.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they have no motive for the killing, except that it appeared to be a deliberate attack, and no suspects have been arrested.

New research published in the August issue of Archives of Sexual Behavior has come up with a list of 237 reasons that motivate people to have sex.

Most of the students gave the usual reasons for having sex: "I was attracted to the person," "It feels good" and, "I wanted to show my affection" were high on the lists of both men and women. Lesser priorities on both lists were reasons such as, "Someone offered me money to do it," "I felt sorry for the person," "I wanted to punish myself" and, "Because of a bet."
