New Zune models coming

New Zune models coming
Word of a flash player and 'truly Wi-fi' device to go head-to-head with iPod.
Zune hasn't even arrived here yet...
Smarting from Apple's iPhone sucker punch, not to mention the gleeful
announcement that they shifted 21 million iPods in three months,
Microsoft has come out fighting. Sort of.

Shooting the breeze about the Zune's European launch, the player's
marketing boss, Chris Stephenson, hinted that a flash version of the
Zune will go mano-o-mano with the Nano. But not until Christmas at the
earliest.

Our ears did prick up though when he also dropped word that a 'truly
Wi-fi enabled device' was on the way. So downloading tracks to match
your mood while negotiating other angry commuters will be a real
possibility.

Still, this follows SanDisk's own Wi-fi player, the Sansa Connect,
which was shown off a couple of weeks back at CES.
